303 How to share files

1. Click on the sharing icon in the bottom corner of the file cards to share a file

2. Choose if you want to share the file as an attachment via Prezentor email or generate a link to copy and share via your preferred method.

The file can be shared in its original format or converted into a fully trackable Prezentor file.

NB: When you share a file in its original format, you only get basic tracking (i.e. whether the recipient has opened the file or not). When you share a document as a Prezentor file, you get full tracking data on how the recipient has interacted with said file – which specific pages they looked at, how long for, etc. However, be aware that any interactive features present in the original file, such as hyperlinks, animations, videos, etc., will not be working if you convert it into a Prezentor file.

You can access the statistics on your shared files via the ‘Actions’ menu in your Prezentor app, under ‘Mails and Links’. Click on the stats icon on opened emails or links to see detailed stats.
