Shared files is a folder in the Content Hub that allows you to share uploaded content with your colleagues, so that it may be accessed by several people who are all in several locations, much like a shared Google Drive, Dropbox etc.
The method of viewing these folders is different between the Backend and the App
Backend/Editor method
First, open the Content Hub in editor.prezentor.com. Here you'll be able to view all the folders and files available to you. Anything which says "Private" means it is viewable only by you. You can click on the word "Private" or "Shared" to open sharing sessions, where you can choose who to share the file with.
In the pop up box, you can choose who you want to interact with the file or folder, and how. You can choose whole countries, departments, teams, or else specific people. If you choose "grant editor rights" then you can allow the chosen person or people to delete, move and change the files. If you do not select the option, then they will simply be able to view and download it.
You can also see who owns the file by clicking on it and viewing the folder owner. You can do this even with files you do not own.
Frontend/App method
First open the Actions Menu and click 'Content Hub'
If you wish to share a file, locate the file you want to share, and click on the drop-down box, then click "Share internally"
On the next screen, you can select who you wish to share it with, and it can be one person or several.
You can also choose whether they should be able to edit the file, or simply view it.
Once you've made your selection, press "Share now"
If you wish to share the file externally, read this article to learn how.
