2. How to create buttons
By using buttons, you are able to trigger an action anywhere on the slide. You can make these buttons transparent, and therefore make them serve the same purpose as the invisible hotspot area.
To learn how to create buttons, please read this article.
3. How to create a drop-down menu
As there is currently no "drop down" feature, you can use the Configurator, text boxes and "buttons" to create your own drop down menu. Here's how to do it:
- Use your first button to hide and show the list of text boxes that are your "options"
- Then add buttons to each text field and make pressing one of these buttons "replace" the text in the original drop down text box.
Note: You need to align the text so that it sits where you wish in the drop-down list.
- You can then copy this rule for the remainder of the list items.
- Finally, de-select the original button
4. How to link slides together
In the same way that the calculator can be used to link calculations between slides, it can also be used to define an action on a slide based on an action from another slide.
For example, let's say that you want a button you pressed on the second slide to create a result on the last slide.
In this case, the first button on Slide 2 (which is in a hotspot and therefore in this case called H2_B1) has a value of 1 when checked.
So, we create an invisible calculator by making the color of the calculator text the same as the background (or placing a box on top of it to hide it) and tell our last slide's configurator that if this calculator, which shows the value of widget 2_H2_B1 (2nd slide, Hotspot 1, Button 1) is equal to 1, then it should show "Find a better insurance package for me/us" text.
So the logic runs: Slide 1 > B1 > Checked > Value=1 > Slide 10 > C1 > Value=1 > Show Text
In this way, you can also create a page for summing up, building packages, and so much more!
