On May 25th 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into force. The regulation affects the way businesses collect and process data and contributes to a more open and transparent customer dialogue. At Prezentor we believe this to be an important step in the right direction for digitalization at large.
In essence, the GDPR is an attempt to harmonize, strengthen and update EU data protection law to ensure that the legislation follows the technical advances. Special emphasis is placed on enhancing individual rights and freedoms.
Because we are committed to achieving compliance, we’ve been preparing for the new regulation and modified many of our internal practices and policies over the last year. We've released a number of new functionalities that make it easy for you to be GDPR compliant when using the Prezentor platform.
